Based on consumer reports, 93% of vehicles sold in the United States this year (2020) will have ADAS features that require a re-calibration after collision repair work.

When should body shops re-calibrate?
Each OE manufacturer has their own Position Statement of when to re-calibrate. OE procedures follow this basic re-calibration requirement:
- If you remove/replace a sensor
- There is damage/movement to the sensor and/or sensor mounting
Based on the above requirements, the vehicle needs to be re-calibrated after the repair process.
